This day in the year 2015, the 13-member boy group, SEVENTEEN (세븐틴), also known as “self-producing idols” made its debut under the PLEDIS Entertainment. Today marks their 5th anniversary and made another good deed which shows how humble these boys are.
S.coups, Wonwoo, Mingyu, Vernon (the hip-hop unit); Woozi, Jeonghan, Joshua, DK, Seungkwan (the vocal unit); Hoshi, Jun, The8, Dino (the performance unit) are known to radiate positive vibes, full of talents and have a good teamwork donated at ‘Korea Multicultural Youth Association’, ‘Angels Haven’, and ‘Eunpyeong Happy Local Children’s Center’ through Naver Happy Bean. The donation will be used to support education for children and youth mainly on arts education.
SEVENTEEN said, “May 26 is a very meaningful day for us. As we spend a miracle time with the carets for 5 years, people who challenge our dreams by gathering our hearts with love received from fans I would like to share so that I can increase. ” (from OSEN)
In their past anniversaries, SEVENTEEN donated at Eunpyeong Happy Local Children’s Center (on their 3rd anniversary) and Green Umbrella Children’s Foundation ‘Home to Home’ campaign (on their 4th anniversary).
SEVENTEEN members always give their best on performing which made them globally known and grow their fandom, CARAT (캐럿). The boys make sure that they are always connected with their fans. They released a special video of their song, Snap Shoot (check the video below), as a gift to their fans which was directed by Mingyu.
The boys are also greeting their fans through their social media accounts and though WeVerse. In addition, they released their first documentary series, ‘SEVENTEEN: HIT the Road’, last May 15, 2020.
